one-year photos

we met up with our friend, denise chambers, last weekend for marianne's one-year photos. okay, so they ended up being 14-mo photos due to weather and schedules but hey, that's how it goes for us as parents these days. denise has proudly displayed a few pics on her blog.

daddy finally hung marianne's tree swing a couple of weeks ago. this is her first go. it's hanging high with just the original chains so later daddy had to go buy more length to bring it down to a safe swinging height. but it didn't inhibit marianne's good times. she loves it.

a little peek-a-boo

this one's for you, papa. we've been working on names. she humored me and played along for a bit but then...not so much.
